Nikki joined Hall and Woodhouse in 2012 as their Microbiologist and since then has developed the role to include heading up and training the taste panel and organising and brewing for their annual Beer Festival. She has worked in the brewing industry since 1997 when she joined The Budweiser Stag Brewing Company, Mortlake. Over the years she has gained her Brewing Diploma and extensive experience from her roles working in Quality Control, the Brewhouse, Fermentation and Filtration.
It was her passion and enthusiasm for trying new beers that prompted her to train as a Beer Sommelier. Going forward she aims to use her accreditation to help drive product quality within the brewery and it's houses by educating Team Members about the brewing process, recognition and prevention of flavour taints and the potential for beer and food matching."
